H+H Midwifery

Aly Salas CPM-TN

Aly is a Tennessee-licensed, Certified Professional Midwife with a deep passion for supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. Since 2018, she has been honored to walk alongside families as they navigate one of the most transformative experiences of their lives.

Her journey into midwifery began with her own births—three deeply personal experiences that left her yearning for more from her care. That longing for something better—something rooted in respect, informed choice, and whole-person support—led her to pursue midwifery through a MEAC-accredited program. After completing her schooling and becoming licensed in Texas, she stayed on as a resident midwife at a high-volume birth center in her hometown of El Paso, gaining invaluable hands-on experience with a vibrant and diverse community. She remained there until her husband received orders for a new duty station.

Aly also holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Texas Tech University. Her academic and clinical training together reflect her commitment to both the heart and science of midwifery care.

Aly believes that birth is powerful and that every family deserves compassionate, evidence-based support that honors their unique needs and desires. As a bilingual provider (Spanish), she is especially dedicated to offering culturally inclusive care and making sure families feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

To Aly, midwifery isn’t just a profession—it’s a calling. She feels deeply privileged to be invited into such sacred moments, helping families welcome their babies with confidence, dignity, and joy.

Outside of birth work, Aly is a wife and proud mother of three. When she’s not catching babies, you can find her curled up with a good book or spending time with her family and their beloved pets—including some pretty cool chickens!
